About Central Vac Systems

Russ Capuano of Central Vac Systems grew up in the portable vacuum business and shifted over to central vacuums as his main focus in 1995. For more than three decades, he has installed thousands of these systems and is proud to couple it with the high-quality central vacuums from MD Manufacturing. For installations in both new construction and existing homes, Russ is a master installer and is present on each and every installation to ensure the best installation possible. He also services all makes and models of older central vacuums, and offers a variety of replacement hoses, tools, inlets, filters, and even power units. For most homes, he can also add a Hide-a-Hose system to the existing piping with minimal disruption to the home. Stop one of our installation vehicles around town and ask about our free estimates. Let Hide-A-Hose Central Vacuum show you how a Hide-a-Hose central vac system can enrich your home and your life. Central Vac Systems brings decades of hands-on experience to every installation. Owner Russ Capuano has worked in the vacuum industry since 1995 and has installed thousands of central vacuum systems throughout San Diego County. Every project—whether new construction or an existing home retrofit—is personally overseen to ensure proper system design, efficient piping layout, and long-term reliability.

We design systems to match the home, not force a one-size-fits-all solution. Using high-quality equipment from manufacturers such as MD Manufacturing and VacuMaid, we focus on performance, quiet operation, and ease of use. Many homes can also be upgraded with Hide-A-Hose retractable hose systems, often utilizing existing piping with minimal disruption.

Beyond installation, our experience servicing all makes and models gives us a practical understanding of what works long term. That knowledge allows us to build systems that are easier to maintain, easier to service, and built to perform for years.
